August Meeting with Greg & Ian Salisbury - Explore Costa Rica Birds

Synopsis: In January of 2026 Ian and Greg Salisbury set out on a 10 day adventure to see as much of the wildlife and ecosystems that Costa Rica has to offer. Traveling across the country to primary rainforest, lowland tropical rainforest, mangroves and cloud forests, they got to see an incredible display of neotropical wildlife and culture. In this hour long presentation, they hope to bring you along and let you experience 10 days in tropical paradise. 

Greg Salisbury: IT professional and birder who has been birding more seriously since joining the Churchville Saturday Morning Birdwalk in September 2022. My interest is in birding unusual and overlooked places where any sightings are exciting.

Ian Salisbury: Land Manager at the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education. Been birding since late 2021, started joining Churchville Saturday morning bird walks in 2023. Interests include travel, bird migration, and avian coevolution.
