Big Sit for the Broad-wings!

Join us for the 2nd Annual Big Sit for Broad-winged Hawk Migration watching. Last year, we had 30+ people attended this event with expert birders guiding the participants. Please bring your lawn chairs, coffee/tea mugs, snacks, drinks and everything to make you comfortable in the sun. We aren’t going anywhere! There will be spare binoculars, scopes to spot the birds. If you have your own optics to show-off, please bring them along.

Who should attend: Everyone. This is open to public whether you are birder/birdwatcher or if you know how a bird look like (or not).

Where: Peace Valley Park - Boat Launch Parking Lot, Creek Rd, Doylestown, PA 18901.

Accessibility: Though it is a sit n watch event, we are sorry that it is not ADA-friendly event (It is a few feet off from the parking lot in the grass area. And this parking lot doesn’t have disabled parking spots or the restrooms). We will work with Birdability group to make it an inclusive event next year.
